Lafayette Traffic allows you to keep track of traffic flow in Lafayette, La. using up-to-the-minute info from traffic cameras and accident reports. - Instant Incident Info - Lafayette Traffic pulls in the latest information on potential delays from lafayette911.org, a Lafayette Parish Communication District-operated site. Traffic incidents are displayed seamlessly in the application, and tapping one will show a map with the general location of the accident. - Live Traffic Cameras - Lafayette Traffic also displays images from cameras located at more than 40 intersections around the city. Cameras can be chosen from a list of roads, or selected on a map that displays cameras near your current location. Camera images are updated automatically every four seconds, allowing you to get an idea of how well traffic is flowing. Cameras provided by Lafayette Consolidated Government.

Not bad for what it is

I use this app to avoid parades and other road closers. The next update should include road closures issued by local authorities so during bad weather we dont have to jump from camera to camera to make a judgment call.

I am really impressed with the quality of the images from the cameras and the amount of cams listed. The accident reporting is really nice tonhave as well.
