Utility app for all owners of a Nissan Leaf and other electric vehicles (which has more or less the same CV as Nissan Leaf). If you know the distance to the next charging station, this handy app calculates the optimum speed, taking into account your battery charge, outside temperature, wind and heading. This should have been part of an electric cars onboard computer, but it is not! Further, if you go to the map, you can either search for your destination or find it on the map and LONG PRESS on the address. Then the distance is automatically calculated and used for the calculation when you go back to the main view The speed advice is valid between 50 and 120 km/h and from 10 kWh to 60 kWh (which is way above the current battery sizes for leaf, which is 24 kWh and 30 kWh depending on the model. The app can probably be used with good results for other cars, similar in size to the Nissan, as the aerodynamics probably arent that different between the different models. Of course, the speed suggestions are just advisory. You should always take care and look at the reserve. Also, rain might influence the range negatively.
