Leica DMshare is an application that allows you to capture images from your Leica Microsystems ICC50 HD-camera using your iPad. Taking a picture is easy; you simply tap anywhere inside a large area on the iPad screen. This design makes it possible to capture images on the iPad whilst using the microscope and viewing through the oculars. Leica DMshare also provides a live display of what you and the camera can see on the microscope. This makes it easy to visualise the final image and share the microscope experience with others. This feature is enhanced further when multiple iPads are connected to the same camera - an excellent setup for teaching and discussion.
