The exhibition contains more than 60 3-dimensional, mostly interactive machines, built as full scale and smaller scale models.. They have been recreated based on the original codices, the notebooks Leonardo da Vinci carried with him to record his findings. The machines have been created maticulously using material used at his times: wood, metal, cloth and ropes. The functionality of the machines is described in detail by computer simulations and videoguides that visitors can interactively handle.
