Great!

These magazines are great but a bit pricy, I thought it went free a while ago? Seems it didnt, but still, great magazine.

Great Magazine

This is a must have magazine for information regarding Linux

Awesome

So useful

Not free

The app is free but the magazines are not, the entire apple magazine store is like this. Cheaper to buy the paper edition.

Great! But a few things...

It is great having this magazine on my iPad. That being said, I think there are a few things that would make this a better experience: 1- The pages appear blurry when they first load and then end up focusing. This might sound like a small issue but after flipping through the magazine for some time it does become a nuisance. 2- From what I could tell, even with a membership and after downloading an issue into the iPad, if you take your reading offline some of the pages will come up blank. Not sure if this is a bug or an intended restriction. 3- Each individual page appears to be floating in your screen. To me, it makes the magazine feel like many pages put together rather than a single piece of work. This one is tough to explain so I guess you would have to compare it to other magazines like Wired in order to know what I mean. Personally, I do not regret buying the membership but I would like to see the items above fixed before I would renew.

Login crashes

Try to create login and it crashes before asking my age. Fix that and Ill add stars.

Pretty good

At the time of writing this review, the in-app price of an issue was $5.99. Far cheaper than print, at least where I am. At a local bookstore the the cost is $16.99. As another reviewer mentioned, the pages blur when changing pages. Also smaller screenshots of terminal output is somewhat blurry. Zooming in doesnt help much if at all. In portrait mode part of the screen on the right side isnt used. That might allow another font point size increase to be used? There was a page that had five videos on it. I dont know how much space that takes up. All in all, not a bad experience. The digital version is faithful to the print version so far as I can tell. I will start purchasing issues through this app, and hope the developers keep working at improving the experience.
