Ich kann es nicht anders sagen, bei mir funktioniert es nicht. Dieses Programm ist m. E. nicht richtig duchdacht und ausgearbeitet. Ständig (alle paar Minuten) werden die Accountpasswörter abgefragt, obwohl dieser schon hinterlegt sind. Danach passiert NICHTS. Das ist ein Programm, dass die Welt meines Erachtens nicht braucht. Ein Stern sind 5 Sterne zuviel

LiSA, the Liquid Information Speaking Assistant for Apple Mail speaks with a real human voice when emails arrive, telling you who they are from. For example:
"You have a message from a friend” "You have a reply from your brother”.
To Use LiSA:
Assign relationships with your contacts such as brother, boss, lover and so on. When email arrives LiSA will then say: "You have a message from your brother". LiSA understands replies so can also say: "You have a reply from your boss".
LiSA can announce all incoming messages or only those where you have assigned relationships - its your choice. LiSA can announce the time, on the hour as well.
NOTE: LiSA only works with iCloud mail if you enable two factor authentication.
LiSA REQUIRES that you use Apple Address Book (where she gets your contacts) and Apple Mail.
This is how LiSA works:
LiSA constantly checks for new messages via Mail and announces incoming messages as-and-when they arrive, but not when Mail is in use by the user (when the user would see the incoming message anyway).
If there is an audible chime or beep:
The audible chime you hear is likely the sound made by Mail.app when it received no unread mails. This sound should disappear if you disable "Play sounds for other mail actions" checkbox in General tab of Preferences of Mail.app.
Please also understand that if you have a large amount of email on the server, it could take LiSA quite a while to catch up.

sorry but a app like this needs to support at least the major voices that osx is used in. in my case german. I understand english but i want my os useable in a unified language. sorry.
Good potential, but ..
The idea is nice, however you need to use apple build-in text to speech to allow the user to customize the announcement rather than being stuck with your built-on ones; For example: I want the app to tell me: You got an e mail from Lisa, From Nick…. etc. You also need to have the app work just from within apple mail app and remove the dock and menu bar icons. I will wait for the next version to see those changes otherwise I will uninstall.
Stopped working after 1 month
I gave it 5 stars, but now it doesnt work anymore. Author says hes working on a fix, but it no longer works for me.

This is one of my favourite apps. I started using it many years ago - maybe in the 90s. It wasnt cheap then, but it worked like a charm. Over the years, the app has been improved tremendously, and ironically, at its best, its now free. Customer support has been excellent over the years. Its always good to know where the mail thats just arrived is coming from. It could be urgent; it could be otherwise. This is where this app stands out! The ringtones sound very good - not at all noisy and will not startle you. What more can I say?

I used the old LiSA for years and missed it when it stopped working for me. Glad to have it back at a decent price.
