This app is aimed at anyone who has an interest in literature. Each day there is a new quote from a novel/play/poem ranging from Shakespeare to Cormac McCarthy. * Along with each quote there is a discussion which puts the quote in context and comments on any literary techniques that may have been used. * There is a quiz to test your knowledge of the first lines of well-known novels. * Twitter integration is included, allowing you to tweet your thoughts on the text/author right from inside the app. * No internet connection is required to get your new quote for the day and you can also look at entries for previous days. This app celebrates the creative potential of the English language and can help you discover new literary texts to enjoy.
