The animation serials, "Little Sun" is adopted from the story, "The Little Sun," written by famous Taiwan writer Linliang. "Little Sun" is Linliangs most popular prose collection. It has earned many literature awards. In the book, he records many "first times in his life," including getting married, establishing a family, having child and becoming a father of three little girls. These touching moments that are not re-curable has been written vividly into the book by Linliang with his unique and fluent style, humorous attitude to mark the happiness of the daily routine in a little family." The Little Sun," illustrate the story that wits the society and the life in Taiwan crossing 14 years which goes from 1956 to 1970. In the book, there are 17 stories from the "Little Sun" are selected and combined into 13 episodes to describe the splendid stories of this six-member family with two parents, three daughters and a dog.
