TripTracker is a unique journey tracker that is designed to use virtually no extra battery when tracking your trips and to optionally share your location changes through Facebook. It relies only on significant location changes, which means it never turns on the actual GPS hardware in your device, greatly reducing battery drain.
Using this technique, the app tracks location at an accuracy of neighbourhood level. This makes it ideal for monitoring trips such as a daily commute to work, a road trip between cities or states, or international travel.
