TripTracker is a unique journey tracker that is designed to use virtually no extra battery when tracking your trips and to optionally share your location changes through Facebook. It relies only on significant location changes, which means it never turns on the actual GPS hardware in your device, greatly reducing battery drain.
Using this technique, the app tracks location at an accuracy of neighbourhood level. This makes it ideal for monitoring trips such as a daily commute to work, a road trip between cities or states, or international travel.
By enabling sharing via Facebook, you can share your road-trips and travel with your family and friends. Theyll be able to see your progress as you move between neighbourhoods, cities and countries.
TripTracker shows a summary displaying the number of cities, neighbourhoods and countries you have recently visited. See how many neighbourhoods you travel through in the average week and how many miles you cover!
