I thought the actual „Word of the Day“ would pop up on my screen or something, but it turns out that I need to use a link to a page which THEN tells me the word. So I could have googled it myself without wasting money on the App. Just don’t buy it.
Doesn’t work
It doesn’t work for me (the word of the day alternative is off). I even removed and reinstalled it several times.
App Did Not Work
Word of the Day app icon appeared in top menu bar however the program never launched. "Unable to download words, check connection then click here to retry” Program never connected even though I’m currenlty connected to the internet right now writing this review. Hopefully the developers fix this issue soon or someone else creates on that actually works.
App will not open on my new MacBook Pro
Just downloaded and app will not even open. Does Apple not test these before they allow them on their approved list????? Please refund my money asap.
Works as advertised
No idea the issues reported by only other review on this software. Downloaded and installed on MacBook Pro running 10.7. Not the most exciting piece of software, but it does what it says it will with clean/intuitive options...
Words for a fourth-grader
This app is not worth the space. The very common words given are not going to help if you are actually interested in learning something new everyday.
Not very helpful
I downloaded the app expecting to learn new, challenging words every day. Instead I got easy words most people already know like "misapply" and "strain" and I couldnt even get another one. It was a complete waste of money.
