Description
For lighting when you need it most, in a convenient LED that can fit in your pocket. The new Lumimuse8 has built in Bluetooth Wireless Technology allowing you to control the lighting wherever you are through your iOS device. Once paired, you are ready to capture photos and videos as normal, adjusting the flicker-free lighting output from 0-100% via the slider to illuminate the subject as you desire. The maximum light output of this LED is 550 lux @1m. You can access the usual features in this app, including Flash, Timers, front and back cameras and video mode. You can also adjust the LED when using the camera in other apps, such as your standard iOS camera and Instagram for example. Here, you can add the Lumimuse app to the Widget screen in your device and control the lighting in this way. The Lumimuse has a high CRI rating of 92, meaning that it replicates natural daylight well, leaving you with color-correct images. If you need more lighting, then you can also pair the Manfrotto LYKOS LEDs with the Lumimuse App via the LYKOS Bluetooth Dongle. When pairing more than one LED, they are named A, B, C, D and so on in terms of the sequence by which they are paired. Tapping on your chosen letter means that you can control each light independently. Tapping the ‘All’ button in the Lights Connected screen means that you can control all of the lights at once. Experiment with different color temperatures and even soften the light output by using the gels included with the Lumimuse8. Snap on using the gel holder and control the LED as normal through the Lumimuse app. Whether you are a keen iphoneographer or avid selfie-snapper, having perfect lighting when you take your shot will reduce post-production time significantly and ensure that your subject is always looking its best.
