This app work well with the Lynx Touch panel but will only work locally. When at home, it makes it easier to control the system rather than on the panel. When pairing was easy, note to follow instructions to ensure panel is in the right menu to accept. For control outside the home, you will need the Totalconnect 2.0 app which requires you to sign up with an affiliated monitoring system even if you only want self monitoring.
Cant Connect To L7000
The instructions for connecting are incorrect for the L7000 panel can make initial connection.
What a ripoff
Does not work at all, Ive tried to connect to the control panel but it does not connect at all. They just want you dollar for their profits. Dont waste your time with this app that does not work. I have the 5200
Wont Connect
Will not connect to home panel through wifi. Waste of money!
Great for in home use
Have a 5200 unit and was connected in seconds with very clear instructions and screen shots. It has complete functionality of the touch screen, but only on wifi, so no remote control if not on your home wifi. If it worked through cell data connection I would have given it the last star.
This app is worthless
You can only access your Lynx l7000 locally. Limited features. Why would you need this when Honeywell total connect offers a free app? Plus it never connects. Can you give zero stars?
Works well as a secondary panel
I was looking for a use for an older iPad that I had, and wanting a 2nd panel that was more useful than the basic Z-Wave panel that connects to my Lynx 7000, so I tried this app. It works well so far, and I have my old iPad mounted semi-permanently on the main level, which is ideal. It is definitely for the local LAN, though, so dont expect it to work remotely...
