The most accurate topo maps for Finland with versatile tools.
• Accurate maps •
Topo maps - Finland shows maps for all scales from National Land Survey of Finland. The app benefits Retina display. The map includes also information about depth of some lakes. Please note that depth information is not available on the all lakes.
• Property information •
You can see property information on map. The feature has to be activated by In App Purchase.
• Offline •
Topo maps - Finland downloads all map tiles to device so you can navigate even without internet connection. You can also download selected map area.
• Route manager •
You can easily save your tracks. A lot of details are shown about tracks. You can also put them on map so you can follow your old paths. The tracks can be exported as GPX-file. You can also import place marks and tracks.
• Measure distances •
With ruler tool can are able to measure distances of places and routes.
• Base camp •
Save your important point as base camp. You can then navigate back to this place easily.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
• Map subscriptions •
Topo maps offers maps to be purchased separately. Currently the app offers purchases for:
- Topo maps - World
Powered by Thunderforest Outdoor maps. Access to the map as yearly auto-renewable subscription.
- Property borders - Finland
Access to the map for one month or one year. The subscriptions does not auto-renew.
- Ocean maps - Finland
Access to the map as yearly auto-renewable subscription.
- Topo maps - Sweden
Access to the map as yearly auto-renewable subscription.
- Topo maps - Norway
Access to the map as yearly auto-renewable subscription.
• About auto-renewable subscriptions •
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Be careful. The price of the app is correct. But as Finnish maps are free of rights (open license) it is crazy to have to pay for a monthly or annual right of use. (very expensive). On the other hand the downloading is extremely slow and you cannot really use it. I found another app (same price) which is far better without rights for finnish maps which is a honest way of dealing.
