My Chinese tutor was impressed with my vocabulary, but deeply saddened by my pinyin. She flat out told me it was horrible. So, I began looking for something that would be fun to use and entertaining. Granted Im a lot older than the target audience this app is engaging and interesting. Ive sat in classes and had teachers review charts and tones and felt my eyes glazing over. Pinyin is boring. This app is helping and I enjoy it. I do wish that some of the plot and additional in-app purchase stuff was in English. I had to ask one of the Chinese teachers to help me purchase, because I couldnt figure it out. Nice app and an easy way to improve your pinyin.
