MailRemedy is an utility that helps you to clear "Mail" Applications OfflineCache if it gets corrupted. You dont need to tweak your Mail settings or execute any cryptic terminal commands to do this. With MailRemedy, you can clear the corrupted cache with a few simple mouse clicks. When do you need to clear the cache? You need to clear the OfflineCache of your IMAP account as soon as Mail generates multiple copies of the same message under the "Recovered messages" folder and one or more accounts show the spinning progress indicator. While the "Mail" Application is stuck in this state, no messages can be sent or received. This seems to occur only with IMAP accounts. Just a few clicks in MailRemedy and the "Mail" Application is running again. What MailRemedy cant do: MailRemedy can NOT recover your lost, deleted or damaged messages and works ONLY with IMAP Accounts.
