Description
MangaFinder is an Universal iOS app for discovering mangas based on top rates, genres, personal interests.
You can preview manga details like plot summary, authors, and characters. You can add mangas to your Wish or Favorite List for easy access as you wish. You can discover mangas using the Genre tab or search them by title or author from the Search tab. You also can share the snapshots of manga details with your friends.
Mangas are ranked by a bayesian average of median which was fetched from Anime News Network. The characters of mangas are fetched from AniList site.
-1) Universal iOS App. Both iPhone and iPad versions are using dynamic cell size instead of hardcode size.
-2) Very fast performance response. Using NSOperationQueue and cache control only onscreen cells need download images.
-3) Upon first install, the app will load the pre-fetched mangas (from Anime News Network) for a better user experience.
-4) Upon first launch the app, it will fetch the latest mangas from Anime News Network. The user can later specify fetch frequency in Settings.
-5) Top Rated tab displays the top rated mangas. The number of top rated mangas can be specified in the Settings tab.
-6) Genres tab displays manga genres alphabetically. The number of mangas under each genre is also displayed.
-7) Search tab provides users searching functionality by title or author.
-8) My Lists tab provides Wish and Favorite List. Mangas are added or removed from these two lists in the Manga Details view.
-9) Settings tab shows the About Us, Tell a Friend, Fetch Frequency, Number of Mangas to Display and total mangas available in the Core Data database.
