Lies and garbage

This app has nothing of what it promises in the discription! No strings no dictionary just a copy of the kjv! I complained to their customer service and they sent me a sales pitch! I want my money back!

I have a previous review before this update and yes!! they did made some adjustments. Thanks for that! The download/response time is now a bit faster compared to the previous version. And there are also some other features that were added. I dont like the musical note icon for the notes or in-line editing feature. Could you make an option for that? Still, there is not much free books to offer. There are lots of free bibles, sermons, dictionary, etc. In other bible apps whereas you have to purchase it here! Is there a way you can add Tagalog or Ilokano Bible(I would gladly pay the Ilokano version) for free? No changes on the icon, you can still read mantis instead of "bible". Still, this is a good buy!! A must have for those who wants to have utheir own translation or version of the bible in which their native translation cant be found as downloadables!! Is there a way I can read my translation or in-line notes without the toggle on/toggle off thing? I mean, I would be able to read my in-line edited notes next to the original verse of the bible. Please update and thanks for the recent update!! This was my review on the previous version of Mantis NIV Bible: I bought this app because of the in-line editing feature. But I found some features that are annoying. The download time is 5-6 seconds compared to 1-2 seconds download time of OliveTree Bible App! You cant scroll to books continously whereas other Bible app has feature that can be turn on and off. Some bible app have split-screen display like BibleScope and OliveTree Bible and lots of free downloads. The icon should be without the word "Mantis" instead please use Holy Bible or NIV Bible since it is very noticeable on the front page. Thanks! I will look forward for the update!

I downloaded this ap to my iTouch, and it does not work! BEWARE !!!!! Very unclear.

The application worked fine a couple of months then would not open. There is no obvious place on the Mantis website for support help. It is ironic, that a company selling Christian products could deomonstrate such low character and integrity in the support of its product. I would definately not purchase a Mantis product again. Excellent Bible Study App!

WOW! I have used several electronic bibles and this one is the best. I like the fact that I can see related scriptures right next to the one I am reading without jumping to another screen. Also, I do not need to go to a web site to access anything, it is all on my iTouch.

This is a great bible but very exspensive ive already spent $120 and want to buy more I use to use another bible in my iPhone but aways when back to my reagular study bible to get more details of what each verse means with this all the comontary reverences and much much more is rite at your finger tips

Over the years I have used a number of electronic Bibles and the Mantis NIIV Bible Study for the iPad is the best I have ever seen. The quick look up features on the iPad version are fantastic. Comes loaded with many features. Looks (increase font for comfort) and works (fast and easy) great on the iPad.
