Description

mAPP is right for everyone how needs offline mapping on iOS. Download OSM vector maps on your device and use it in dead spots or in other countries without roaming costs. Pure mapping: Pure offline maps in a clear surface. No bells and whistles, no social, no restaurant suggestions. Just orientation! Ideal for hobby and travel. Offline topo maps: Load whole countries or states and view them later without internet connection. The maps includes full OSM detail down to small pathways. As well contour lines included in the topo maps. Tracks: Record tracks and store them on the device or share them as a gpx file. You can also import gpx tracks provided by several platforms for hiking and cycling and display them on the map. Tracks from GPSies, the maybe largest collection on the web, can be downloaded directly within this app. Waypoints: Enter waypoints to mark a location. So you can use mAPP also for hobbies like geocaching. Use the link options in other apps like Looking4Cache or Geosphere to share waypoints.

Fonctionne très mal, carte illisibles, bugs daffichage... Bref 5€ dépensé pour rien...

mapp ist vor allem da stark, wo Google mich in der Vergangenheit immer wieder enttäuscht hat: Offline-Karten. Wer begrenztes Datenvolumen hat und z.B. trotzdem Geocaching machen möchte, hat hier ein feines, sparsames Werkzeug. Ich habe die Karten meines Bundeslandes für schlappe 0,89 Cent gekauft und bin damit recht zufrieden. OSM hat leider in einigen Regionen Schwächen z.B. bei Hausnummern, aber das ist eigentlich ein anderes Problem. Schön wäre noch eine Notizfunktion für Wegpunkte, sowie frei definierbare Kategorien für Wegpunkte, sodass man im Alltag z.B. Streckenpunkte einer Fahrradtour ausblenden kann. Ausserdem gibt es Probleme mit dem Auffinden von Adressen. Gebe ich eine in der App ein, wird mir fast immer angezeigt, dass die genannte Adresse nicht vorhanden sei. Da scheint es noch einen Bug zu geben. Insgesamt eine sehr nette App!

Im gesamten sehr nützliche App! Leider hab ich Idiot meine in App Käufe ausgeschaltet und hab mein Einschränkungspasswort vergessen.

Upload funktioniert scheinbar noch nicht

Ansich prima App, aber sie unterscheidet sich nicht von anderen bzw. manches fehlt mir. Daher ein paar Vorschläge: 1. Upload von Tracks funktioniert nicht, jedenfalls find ich keine entsprechende Möglichkeit 2. es wäre toll, wenn man - wie bei anderen Apps - auch Fotos machen könnte 3. super wäre, wenn man noch Notizen zu Wegepunkte hinzufügen könnte 4. gigantisch, wenn es Sprachnotizen wären (wer will bei einer Wanderung schon ewig tippen) So könnte ich unterwegs alles wichtige und interessante dokumentieren.

Genau so eine App habe ich seit Langem gesucht! Wie der Autor schreibt: Karten pur, ohne Schnick-Schnack, nur Orientierung. GPX-Files werden ohne Probleme importiert und angezeigt. Offline-Funktion auch problemlos. Das UI ist einfach und zweckmäßig gehalten, Bedienung während, in meinem Fall, einer Fahrradtour präzise möglich.

Schlecht Karten

Die App ist ja ganz ok, aber die Karten sind nicht wirklich brauchbar. Ich habe eine Karte von Baden-Württemberg gekauft und um meinen Wohnort fehlen viele Gebäude. Das Kartenmaterial vom anderen Offline-Karten ist da deutlich besser. :(

Alles viel zu klein

Ich will hier die App bewerten und nicht meine Augen - aber selbst mit Lesebrille kann ich auf der Namibia-Karte nur die Hauptstädte erkennen. Der Rest ist so winzig, dass es eine Lupe bräuchte. Eine Möglichkeit, die Schrift zu vergrößern gibt es wohl nicht... Für mich völlig unbrauchbar!
