Description
It’s the perfect way for you to master basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication! Mathzilla has 3 levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Easy is suitable for young math students to practice. Level Medium and Hard require you to immediately recognize the most promising combinations and solve the puzzles quickly, which are challenging for adults to play!
== FEATURES ==
- 3 Different Levels of Play: Easy, Medium, and Hard
* Easy - addition and subtraction up to the number 5 (maximum value 10)
* Medium - addition, subtraction, and multiplication up to number 9 (maximum value 81)
* Hard - addition, subtraction, and multiplication up to number 19 (maximum value 361)
- 3 different scoreboards
- Cute Animations: Animations of King Kong, Roxy, and monkeys are cute, and maintain interest in gameplay.
- Math Skill Improvement: kids practice finding answers as quickly as possible.
== HOW TO PLAY ==
What is the mathematical expression for a value 5? Is it: 3+2? Or it is: 9-4? Unlike most math games, Mathzilla with Roxy the Star asks you to think holistically. Mathzilla challenges you to answer questions containing 3 variables, two numbers, and an operator. This helps you develop the ability to solve problems that involve the logical process of trial and error (useful in solving many non-math problems). More advanced players will immediately recognize the most promising combinations and solve the puzzles quickly.
Also fostered by the app is the connection between digits, numbers, and quantities. A "3" can function as a noun and refer to an abstract concept, or a "3" may function as an adjective modifying a noun. Mathzilla demonstrates to young math students that a "3" can stand alone or stand connected to a noun, providing the answer to the question "How many (noun)s."
Mathzilla subtly interweaves the concept of equivalence. The given answer to the equation may be a group of seven bananas, stacked three over four. But a group of three and another group of four may not be available on the gameboard. Kids may need to use a group of two bananas and another group of five to solve the equation.
