Description

MATRIK Digital Audio Patchbay -- Simple and powerful control of your audio workflow -- * MATRIK features an intuitive interface that allows you to internally route all audio inputs and outputs in your system (*). Any input can be routed to one or more outputs. (*) MATRIK max. 8 inputs and 8 outputs MATRIK Extended max. 24 inputs and 24 outputs * Easily identify inputs and outputs with your own tags, just as if you would use tape and a marker in a hardware patchbay. * Settings are a snap, you’ll be working with MATRIK in a matter of seconds. Works great with physical as well as virtual ports. NOTE: This app doesnt create virtual inputs or outputs for internal routing in your system (e.g. sound system audio to soundcard or between apps). For such purpose, we recommend using external third-party utilities such as Soundflower by Cycling74 which is compatible with all our products. ======================== New great improvements on MATRIK v2.0 (also included in MATRIK Extended v2.0): - The new matrix-based Audio Mix Engine gives much better performance and supports the following features: - Connection gain level - Connection input meter - Pre / Post Fader metering setting - Matrix grid is now much more informative and shows gain connection multiplier (1.000 = 0dB) - Solo / Mute (MATRIK Extended only) - Phase reversal (MATRIK Extended only) Check our website www.klankwereld.com to know more about MATRIK

JAVA needed

nocomment42 · 13 years ago · v2.0.0

To run the App Java is needed and this prerequisite is not mentioned before. Since I do not want to install JAVA, I spent money for nothing...

Unusable

Wolfgang Kundrus · 10 years ago · v2.0.0

This app failes to keep its settings. I need it to launch in the background and always load the same routing. This is functionality you can expect for this kind of app.

Great utility

gwrodriguez · 14 years ago

Simple, easy to use, and to understand. Also a great looking interface for a max/msp standalone.

Incredible Utility! Dont delay, buy it today!

No one, and I mean NO ONE else in the audio world has been able to come up with an inexpensive, fully functional, logically laid out, easy to understand audio routing matrix like this. My biggest CONGRATULATIONS to the author of this application! And that is coming from a veteran engineer of over 40 years of experience. Sure, there are a few tweaks it could use, primarily having more than an 8 X 8 matrix. 16 X 16, or better yet, 32 X 32 would be great! Or, being able to run multiple instances of the same appliction, and further being able to link them together. Ill keep investigating and see what more is possible. Again, C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!!!!!!!! JEH

Not sure.

Quits "unexpectedly" frequently. Couldnt setup to play audio through 2 headsets which I thought it could do. Just plays input (mic) through 2 headsets, not internal audio (watching a video)

Does not work with OS X 10.8.6 - no response from customer support

Russ L3 · 12 years ago

This appeared to be a nice neat simple app. However after installing it was not possible to make any connection selections in the GUI. Clicking on the matrix produced no change in the display. There was no response to my request for hlep form customer support. Total waste of money!

Great product, confused user

I had downloaded Matrik and was having setup problems. I was nervous because of a negative review that mentioned bad support -- was that reviewer wrong! Klankwereld responded quickly to my questions with great info and I saw my mistake. Matrik is working fine for OSX 10.6.8. I am using it with soundflower to run multiple speakers with an _aggregate_ output device, as the older version of OSX (all that my hardware can handle) does not support _multiple_ output devices as the newer versions of OSX do. All is working great and I now have multiple speakers running arund the house. Thank you!
