Merge Tables Wizard matches and merges data from two Excel worksheets in seconds. This smart tool is a user-friendly alternative to Excel Lookup/Vlookup functions. After 15 days the wizard will process tables with up to 50 rows. You can remove this limitation via In-App Purchases.

Microsoft Excel is required to use this app.

With this app you can:

• Compare and merge two Excel tables in 5 quick steps
• Use one or several key columns for comparison
• Update the existing columns in your main table
• Add non-matching columns to the end of your main list.

When you work with Merge Tables Wizard, you can choose the following options to get the expected results:

• Add the rows from the lookup table that are not present in your first table to the end
• Add or insert rows with duplicate key column values
• Update only empty and new cells in the main table
• Update the first table cells only if the corresponding cells from the lookup table contain data
• Add the Status column that will mark the changed rows as Updated, Duplicate, Matching, New row, etc.
• Automatically change the background color of the updated cells in your main list.

Merge Tables Wizard will help you each time you need to compare two Excel spreadsheets, find the updates or new records and pull them to your main table for further analysis.

Doesn’t even work

App is a piece of garbage. It pops open and says select the master table, so you press select, and select the cells, then you press Okay, and then the app minimizes and it’s impossible to ever get to the next screen. I’ve rebooted, quit excel, restarted the app, nothing works. You select master table and it just miimizes to the dock and leaves you in excel. Useless!

Still not compatible with Excel 2016.

Just tried the app with Excel for Mac 2016 and app errs from the start. They should update their compatibility note to specify that you need to have Excel for Mac 2011. App does not work with the current version of Excel.

Worst product

Disgraceful. Apple, remove this developer from your store ASAP

Doesn’t work with Excel v15.15

Literally will not function with Excel for Mac 2016 v15.15. You launch, select the macro, enable macros, and then it crashes. It had such promise.

It is broken now

What have you done with Merge Table Wizard on the MAC platform? It was working great until recently or since last update. It take for ever to start, does not remember my choice that I don’t want to create a back up file and I am wasting time with error messages. Fix this and make it the way it was before. I am about to give up on a Software that I purchased and loved.

Ablebits for Mac - not as savvy as PC

Ablebits for Mac only works if your files are small. By small, I mean a few rows and columns. If you are trying to merge files with more than 20 columns, the app freezes up or crashes. It is not as good as the Ablebits for PC. Extremely DISAPPOINTED with this product, especially when this app costs $49.99! It should be free for the problems it creates!

Lack of compatability for all Mac Excel version

Don’t get this product if you have a newer version of Excel for Mac 2016. It won’t work and will just keep crashing. So dissapointed in this product that they haven’t kept up with the updated software releases for Mac. I really enjoyed this software on the PC but when I switched to the Mac I’m left in a void where I have a new version of Excel but can’t use ablebits anymore.
