Description
This application calculates the whole year of 2018 and the previous years, the tidal stream direction and intensity for the Messina Strait.
With this application you will always know in every moment of the year, the current values in Messina Strait at the two fundamental points, Punta Pezzo and Ganzirri and at the secondary area of the Strait.
The calculation is based on the official harmonic constants.
The currents in Messina Strait may even reach 6 knots and therefore to understand the exact values it is essential for anyone wishing to cross the Strait.

It is possible to calculate the Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise and Moonset in the Messina Strait.
It is possible to calculate the phase of the moon and the Visible sector of the Moon.
