METARs Aviation Weather provides a quick and convenient way to access the worlds most trusted routine weather reports, the Meteorological Terminal Aviation Routine Weather Report (METAR) and the Terminal Area Forecast (TAF).
Used by pilots in their pre-flight briefing, these weather reports contain critical information about winds, visibility, clouds, temperature, and other observed and forecast weather conditions.
This application collects weather reports from METAR and TAF stations, color codes them to the appropriate flight category, then displays them in a format similar to that of a calendar, helping you to see trends at a glance.
Unique to this app is a robust alerting system, which monitors changing flight categories and notifies you based on alert conditions you choose. For example, if you want to know when your departure airport turns from IFR to VFR, tap a few settings, and youll get an alert when the change occurs.
