The official RideMETRO app allows you to plan trips and pay for rides on bus and rail services operated by METRO public transit in Houston, Texas. By allowing the app to access your location, you’ll see: • Nearby bus and rail routes • Real-time arrival estimates for nearby buses • Scheduled arrival times for nearby trains You can even choose to receive onscreen notifications or pulse vibrations at key points during your trip. Dont know why this app got such low ratings. It tells the time when the bus arrives and the time I will be at my destination. It also plans my trip for me. There is one thing, please always continuous make the app better. Update 9/2/16: Down grade from a 5 to a 4. This app is not entirely accurate. Told I needed to wait 20 minutes for the next bus. I was about to turn back and just drive. Then a new bus arrived. I had to run to catch it.

If you have not done the update, DONT!!!!!! Absolutely horrible. You will lose all your favorites. Default location is D.C. Not user friendly. There doesnt appear to be a way to delete recent trips, so if you look up a wrong stop, it will stay in your recent trip log.

The new update to this app is horrible, not user friendly at all. Cannot even begin to explain the inconvenience it has caused me in the last 24 hours. Please revert back to the old format and do us all a favor.
