Old School Audio Recording App

This is a good, old fashioned audio record app with some really nice features. Many of the effects are very useful, rather than your average “toy set” of tools. I use this regularly for making announcement recordings, etc. Love that I can export to a variety of different formats. I have found it a be a dicey with Sierra, crashing on occasion, however, without data loss so far. Never happened under any previous operating system where this app is solid as a rock.

Ganz nett, aber ziemlich einfach gehalten

Ich hatte mehr erwartet. Der Mono-Aufnahmemodus bzw. auch das Konvertieren von Stereo nach Mono erschließt sich mir absolut nicht, scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Die Funktion sollte ja die beiden Stereo-Spuren zusammenmischen, aber wenn bei mir nur eine Spur Inhalt enthielt, war das Ergebnis stets nichts. Die meisten Funktionen erlauben keine Parametrisierung, so z.B. kann man bei Export als mp3-Datei absolut nichts einstellen, also auch keine Bitrate. Was mich aber am meisten ärgert ist, daß die Waveformdarstellung nicht korrekt ist. Ein Clipping bei der Aufnahme konnte ich nicht erkennen obwohl es vorhanden war, wenn ich mir das Ergebnis mit Audacity anschaute, auch gehört hatte ich es. Die Amplitude der Wellenform ist auch nicht beschriftet. Ansonsten ist das Programm ganz nett und wesentlich intuitiver zu bedienen als z.B. Audacity.

Ehm, in the welcome window it says: "Channels: 32 Bit" and "Bit Depth: Mono" I think you mixed something up there. :D Its a great tool, but strangely you cant record without selecting a file first. Cancelling the recording will leave an empty/invalid file, thats just stupid. And pleaaaase add an option to never display the welcome window. Its really completely pointless/distracting for non-noobs, the menu world be suffice. I dont even want to know what happens when you use the OS X Resume function, will it throw a window in your face just because it happend to run before restarting?

Ich finde das Programm super. Man kann damit einfach ein Musikstück bearbeiten. Ich verwende es v.a. zum Trimmen. Mit den Markern geht es gut. Mir war nicht ganz klar, wie ich es dann weiterbearbeiten kann. Aber eine Mail beim Support und es kam sofort eine Antwort. Absolut zu empfehlen. Spitze Support.

kleiner Bug - Super Service

Nachdem meine aif-Dateien nicht geladen werden konnten, schrieb ich eine Mail an den Support. Die erste Antwort kam nach nach 2 Stunden! (Nachts um 3h!) Nachdem das Problem vom Service nicht gleich gelöst werden konnte, kam die Rettung schließlich nach 6 Std. vom Programmierer. ("Bug. Dateiendung auf aiff ändern!") Nun klappt es vorzüglich. Hier ist ein Team am Arbeiten, dass seinen Service und seinen Kundschaft wirklich ernst nimmt. Sehr löblich. Update wird folgen. Was ich bisher mit dem Programm angestellt habe, hat nun alles fehlerfrei funktioniert. Nicht ganz billig, aber gut. Und, wie gesagt, echter Service!
