Employees increasingly create their own solutions to this challenge through services such as Dropbox or Evernote. Meaning sensitive corporate data may be shared on public cloud-based synchronization solutions and so leave the safety of the corporate network.
doc.Store was developed precisely to address this issue. This security-oriented solution is simple to implement and can be used in many ways.
In an integrated and intuitive way your files can be shared and synchronized to your employees. It doesnt matter if the files reside on your Windows File Shares or within IBM Domino databases.
Best of all doc.Store integrates either seamlessly into your HCL Notes Domino infrastructure or as a standalone component.
Several authentication options such as password or certificate based authentication deliver a high grade of security for accessing corporate data.
Each store can be centrally controlled, determining whether the information is only available online (available when needed) or can be used offline.
The data is encrypted within the app and stored in a secure container. Additional security also provides seamless integration into existing mobile device management (MDM) environments.
doc.Store uses its built-in viewer to display the most important file formats (MS Office, PDF, or images) directly within the app. Additionally providing PDF editing facilities. The central administration controls the types of third-party apps to which files may be transferred for processing. This so-called App Crossing can be granular controlled with doc.Store.
Prerequisite for the use of doc.Store is the server application midpoints doc.Store gateway.
