REGULATORY INFORMATION The MindDoc App is a risk class I medical device according to Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices) Intended Medical Purpose: MindDoc with Prescription allows users to log signs and symptoms of common mental illnesses in real time over long periods. The application provides users with regular guidance on whether further medical or psychotherapeutic evaluation is indicated through general feedback on emotional health. The application also enables users to self-manage symptoms and related problems by providing evidence-based transdiagnostic courses and exercises to help identify, understand, and manage symptoms through self-initiated behavior change. MindDoc with Prescription explicitly does not replace the diagnosis by a mental health care provider, but can only give orientation on whether to consult a mental health care provider who then can include the results of the medical device in diagnostic processes.
