Description
Achievement Studies invites you to download the Minds 2021 app to participate in a study about mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease. Achievement Studies, a product of Evidation Health, enables individuals to participate in innovative research studies designed to advance scientific understanding of different health conditions and technologies.
Minds 2021 is an online research study exploring how digital devices can be used to detect early signs of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease. You’ll use this app for the following:
- Complete enrollment for the study
- Connect additional apps and data for the study
- Manage your Achievement Studies account
- Keep track of your upcoming and past study activities and progress
Study participants should download and use the app only after receiving notice from Achievement Studies directing them to download the app. To participate in this study, you must electronically sign the Informed Consent Form provided to you when you registered for the study. To enroll in this study, you must complete the pre-enrollment activities and qualify to move forward with the enrollment process.
As outlined in the Informed Consent Form, this study uses location data from your smartphone. Location data allows us to better understand social movement, that is time spent outside of the home. Previous research* has shown that GPS-based data (location data) is useful for better understanding how people with different cognitive abilities behave.
This app supports an investigational research study. It is not intended to, nor should it be used to replace professional medical advice.
