The iPatientCare miPHR (my PHR) is a scaled-down version of our full-featured Enterprise Patient Portal, and is meant to provide the patients with anywhere, anytime access to their own clinical records and also allows them to communicate securely with the doctor’s offices. This system allows the patients to view and maintain a complete clinical summary of their record, updated demographics information, send appointment request, send refill request, view lab / diagnostic test results, view personalized patient education material and get reminded for overdue medications and other health maintenance related activities.
If you are a patient, it gives you a great ability to remain in control of your own clinical record and your own health. It makes you really engaged in your health related activities and stay connected to your doctor’s offices.
If you are a healthcare providers, iPatientCare mPHR extends the information from EHR in your office to the patient’s finger tips in a secured manner. This is a great tool that will help you remain complaint with Meaningful Use in Stage 2 and beyond.
