Description

MixDeck Scratch DJ is the first iphone application that simulates a real turntable! Just scratch the music on your ipod or iphone like a real DJ! You play it back faster, slower or even backwards! Make cool remixes with three built-in DJ-effects and the accelerator controlled cutoff/resonance effects. This is a real fun application. Start now being a digital DJ on your ipod or iphone. Your own file can be downloaded with the MixDeck-Uploader Apllication. MixDeck supports following file types MP3, OGG, AIFF, FLAC or WAV files. The MixDeckUploader can be found here: http://iphone.mixdeck.com Hint: The Accelerator control can be switched on in the seetings dialog (upper right corner).

Fun -but in an extremely limited fashion (over in less than 10 minutes)

I completely misunderstood the upgrade to include the ability to access the music in your music library -but this is not the case (and to be fair to the product description access to music is noted to be accessed through external web link). Ive played with it for 10 minutes and probably wont touch it again. Save your money until resonable access to the music youve already paid for is available. Sorry Mixdeck.

You cant DJ on an IPhone, its just not capable enough a device, and this one crashes like no other, and you have to upload music to a website to use it, its Just half baked. Its easy to understand Apples policies with crap like this

Is the app you are looking for. Also free, but works. If you want two decks and a mixer the only app to get is cue play dj for $10, but for free touch the wave 2 is pretty nifty. This app? Well.. Download it, youll see. Just dont get fooled into thinking this is all the iPod is capable of.. This app was excusable on iOS 1.0 a few years back, there are now full fledged, fully working amazing apps to dj with.
