Mobile Connect is a new, simple and safe way to log into online services using your mobile phone. It eliminates multiple usernames and passwords, while at the same time enhancing security and privacy of your personal information. It’s the new way to manage your identity online, backed by mobile operators globally to ensure safety, security, and privacy. Look for the Mobile Connect logo at participating websites.
Use Mobile Connect to:
- Sign up and sign into participating websites without a password
- 2-step verify passwords with a simple tap, PIN or fingerprint - no manual passcodes needed
- Authorize online transactions (payments, account changes, etc.)
- Protect your identity online
Mobile Connect does not use or save usernames and passwords. Your mobile phone number is your digital identity (like your username), secured by your smartphone using a PIN or fingerprint, and the mobile network. No personal information about you, including your phone number, is shared with online services without your consent.
To use Mobile Connect Canada, you must be an active mobile subscriber at a participating Canadian mobile service provider.
