MobileLocal from Captive Minds enables tourist offices, councils, associations and businesses to simply provide a useful iPhone mobile app for visitors to the local area.
Provide visitors your area with a series of guided GPS walks supported by text, pictures and video. MobileLocal also incorporates the latest local buzz from twitter and the ability for users to ‘Connect to Facebook’ to share photos of the local area with friends too!
The app is fully managed through a web interface where content can be regularly updated by you.
MobileLocal is designed to build relationships with your visitors, helping them to share what they like about the area with their friends.
MobileLocal also provides you with the opportunity to generate revenue too. On the walks map, you can add GPS-triggered adverts from local businesses. From coffee shops and boutiques to local B&B’s, any type of business can be advertised.
Finally, to help you advertise your app, we’ve incorporated an intelligent QR code system. By scanning just one QR code, MobileLocal will automatically direct the user to the correct download page for their phone.
