Antone Barnes is the second partner in this dynamic duo. Barnes serves as co-founder, owner, and Chief Operating Officer for Modern Class Design. Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Barnes began his career in the entertainment industry as a record executive for some of the top labels in the music industry. His background in marketing and promotions has afforded him the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the music business. During his 15 years in this role, Barnes has contributed to more than 20 million records sold around the world from top names such as Prince, Stevie Wonder and Jay-Z to Nelly, Brian McKnight and 50 Cent. Mr. Barnes attributes his passion for art to his father who was exceptional in designing his childhood home and owned-businesses. With innate talent as an interior designer, Barnes designed his current home in Maryland which gained notoriety from various individuals, including his business partner Vernon Davis. Since founding the company in 2010 with Davis, Barnes has already designed several NFL players’ homes and is in the process of designing a corporate office of a top sports agency located in the affluent area of McLean, Virginia.
