Description
Official app for exhibition "Mondrian e o movimento de Stijl".
Landscape that features paintings, architectural drawings, models, furniture, documentaries, period publications and photographs of artists of the movement of modern Dutch avant-garde, known as De Stijl (The Style), started as revised in 1917 and had as icon painter Piet Mondrian. These artists drew up a kind of "total art", using primary colors to create works without restrictions, clear and clean, as they imagined the future. The exhibition also shows the path of Mondrian, from figuration to abstraction. Curator: Tjabbes Pieter Benno Tempel and Hans Janssen.
It is suggested that the visit to the exhibition to begin the gallery one to better understand the evolution of the artist and the De Stijl movement.
