Description
This is a Moo-O (read “Moo-OH”) storybook that draws children out to read aloud very naturally. It is an immersive digital story, which with the web camera on the iPad, instantly immerses the readers in the story, as they become the story characters. Used by schools in many countries, Moo-O is effective in engaging and motivating children, helping them improve their oracy skills.
Moo-O is also ideal and fun to be used at home, as family members can take on different roles in a story to create their very own digital play.
About The Story
The farmer wants to sleep. But the animals were very noisy!
Written by Joy Cowley
Suitable for children between 4 and 6.
Characters in the story:
1. Cow (2 lines – making cow sound)
2. Dog (2 lines – making dog sound)
3. Duck (2 lines – making duck sound)
4. Frog (2 lines – making frog sound)
5. Pig (2 lines – making pig sound)
6. Sheep (2 lines – making sheep sound)
7. Farmer (2 lines)
If your child is not able to read independently yet, you can work with him/her to read and record the story. And then, get your child to watch and enjoy his/her very own video production, and to experience success in his/her learning.
Another way is for you to read and record the story yourselves, and then have your child watch the video acted by you. Your child will certainly find it fun and even funny to watch you role playing as the story characters. This will help endear your child to the story even more because it is so personalized.
This story is based on the book THE FARM CONCERT by McGraw-Hill Education.
