cant start skip counting by 1!?

The number line is a great idea but I cant believe the developers didnt give the option to count by the actual number you are learning (2, 3, 5, etc) for example if youre counting by 2s, you might start at say, 24 - instead of 2. Thats a terrible flaw and makes this worthless to beginners.
