Description
Muon is music + visualization for iPad. Immerse yourself in a living lightshow which evolves in response to your touch and pulses with the beat of your music.
Muon generates endlessly-varying organic animations that range from the seething chaos of a supernova through to intricate symmetric writhing string forms, seamlessly morphing from one exotic conformation to the next in the blink of an eye.
When left alone, Muons Evolution Engine ensures that your iPad screen is filled with fascinating, ever-changing animations. If a form evolves that you dont like, a single tap or shake generates a new mutant universe. When a form evolves that you do like, its DNA-blueprint can be instantly captured to a preset to allow re-incarnation at any time.
For those that like to tinker, Muon includes an intuitive control-surface editor that makes customising simulation parameters quick and easy, while switch-bay patch-panels allow the operator to customise how the visualizer mutates and responds to touch and audio stimuli.
Muon also makes it a snap to capture still images of the visualization, and provides options to save captured stills to the Camera roll to use as home or lock-screen images, or instantly share online via Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, or email.
For music playback, Muon includes a fully-featured integrated music player that provides all the playback and transport control features you need, with direct access to your iPod music library songs, playlists and album art for maximum convenience.
Hot-swap external display support lets you hook your iPad to a projector for an instant VJ experience, while iPad 2 users with iOS 5 and an AppleTV can display HD-quality video output wirelessly over wi-fi. Dedicated dual-display support means that all of the user-controls remain usable on the iPad screen while the visualization is running on an external display.
