Musical Egg Timer and its sister app Classical Musical Egg Timer are the most simple and fun egg timer app available. Press play and the music starts. At the 3 minute mark, an alarm bell will sound and the music will change. This happens again at the 5,7, and 12 minute marks - all key intervals for boiling eggs. The fun upbeat music serves as an indicator as to how far along your eggs are. This simple concept makes it easier for the user to do other things, besides watching the clock, while waiting for their eggs to boil. The digital clock at the top can be used for more specific cooking times. Also, because the timer counts up, not down, it can be used to time multiple eggs with varying cook times.
