The configuration is defined by a Finalis (= Ambit = lowest note on the playground) and the name of a church mode (Ionian, Dorian, ...). * Alteration: Similar to Mode, with major/minor oriented mode spelling. The configuration is defined by a lowest note Ambit and an intervall pattern. If possible, the pattern is described as the closest alteration of either the major or minor scale starting from the ambit note. * Major: Major scale oriented.
