This app has possibilities, but there are so few choices from which to build your house that within 30 seconds, or so, you have completed the tasks. If you put more stuff on, well then ....maybe

I have several of these Portengo apps living together happily on my iPod, and my 4-yr-old adores them, especially the Labrador and the Spaceship. This was the first one I purchased. I like them because of the high-quality illustrations, the simple interface that my son understood immediately, and the nostalgia I feel for the Colorforms kits I had when I was a kid. My son likes them because hes four and likes to color, loves to play with stickers, and because the pictures are cute. Hes always really proud of the scenes he makes, and has a story for each of them. I play with it too, from time to time. These apps have plenty of features to mix or match, and every now and then we get an update with even more backgrounds or elements to play with. Theres no leaderboard, no online community to join, no level bosses to beat-- its just fun, beautifully designed joy on your iPod. I recommend this highly to anyone with a preschooler, or even any "grown-up" who still likes Colorforms, crayons, and stickers!

My son and my nephew are becoming addicted to these scene composer apps! My son has all his room walls with painted prints of his creations.
