Story background:
According to legend, a thousand years ago, in the mysterious Far East, there was a monk, who wrote his own understanding of “zen" in 108 flagstones. As time went on, each flagstone was divided into four fragments of the same shape. Eastern monks had always believed that as long as all the 108 stone plates of the pattern were spelt out, they would realize the real meaning of "zen" with the supreme wisdom.
