N-CORE Mobile extends the reach of the NATO Codification System (NCS) processes as provided by N-CORE NG beyond the office desk to everywhere logistics takes place.
It enables you to initiate a NCS Codification Request wherever you may encounter new supply parts within your logistic geography, be it in a warehouse, on the shop floor, a port of entry or in the field.
Screen your new supply parts against the NCS catalogue by using the built in barcode reader or by typing in other identifying references to either obtain their NATO Stock Numbers plus catalogue data or to detect that they are not yet codified into the catalogue.
Initiate Codification Requests for those new supply parts screened as not yet included in the catalogue. Use the app to enter descriptive data on the item of supply to be codified and its manufacturer. Take and attach photographs and other available documentation to the request.
The app is capable of mobile operations independent of network access. A local on-device database keeps captured and synchronised process data available at all times. When a connection is available, codification requests are forwarded for further processing using secure web service access to the N-CORE NG Web Application.
