Umfassend ist Joachim Schultes Yacht-Wörterbuch. Hier sind nur einige der wichtigsten Begriffe enthalten.

Other apps are much more comprehensive, and I also found the definitions to be sometimes telegraphic, sometimes cryptic, and usually minimal.

My husband and I are power boaters and have taken numerous classes towards our Captain liscense.I purchased a different App before I found this one and have deleted it because I feel it is worthless.This App has a wealth of words and their meaning which are very useful for the novice boater to the experience one.Gentle winds and calm seas to all.

Out of date dictionary.

Nearly useless as a reference because so many terms and definitions are obsolete and have little relevance to modern usage. For example, the term "spars" is defined in this app as "pieces of trees as they are cut in the wood." That definition might help a 19th century sailor, but in the 21st century, spars are the mast and boom of a sailboat and are more likely to be made of aluminum.

Could you make it more confusing?

Hard to imagine a dictionary that does such a poor job of defining terms. Not only that, too many standard terms are missing. I would not recommend bothering with this app
