Mudou minha maneira de estudar completamente. Consigo estudar de maneira mais direta e eficiente.
Great content but apps need work
The content is great! Recent changes in guidelines (ie JNC8) are represented really well. But this is a review of the apps and they are kind of puzzling. The online version is pretty good. Its flash based, which is a battery drain on my laptop but no real complaints there. Unfortunately, The iPad app is just unusable. It wastes so much white space on the logo that you have to zoom in on every question to be able to read it. It also forces a horizontal orientation even though the questions would be better served in a vertical orientation. One other pet peeve, it strips out the ability to see battery level, time and signal quality for no apparent good design reason. Finally there is no way to review previous questions or mark them for review later. The iPhone app is much more usable though it unfortunately only displays short cases so it doesnt have as much content to draw from.
Needs work
Agree with previous review. App takes over 3 min to load. Font is too small. Great content though.
Love Hate Relationship
This is a study app for physicians. It serves its purpose well. The course is hundreds of $$$. Love it as I can study at lib. Hate it as the app wont stay open, if another app ie mail or calendar are viewed - super annoying if not insulting. The study course is hundreds and hundreds of dollars, so dont insult me with your repetitive stupid and time consuming log-in. This should almost be a deal killer. NEJM - try harder please.
Fonts are too small to read. Zooming in/out is a pain.
I regret buying this.
Stuck on an EKG
During the first question I clicked on an EKG and now cant get out of that screen no matter what I do. Pretty annoying.
Annoying password request
The content is great, but requiring us to input our passwords with every use is annoying. This product is advertised as convenient education on the go, to be used between seeing patients or in the grocery line. Adding a tedious barrier diminishes any motivation I may have otherwise had to study in such situations. Less frequent password requests or integration with Apple fingerprint ID would go a long way in making this app work as advertised.
