Newcastle Emlyn hasn’t always been a pretty little market town. A letter to the Editor of the Western Mail paints a rather sorry picture of life here in the late 19th century.
This trail will mainly focus upon those darker times; stories that have been painstakingly collected by local historian Ken Jones and brought together in this bilingual app. View lovely archive images of Newcastle Emlyn and listen to Ken reveal some gory local stories.
This app makes use of GPS to show you places of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
