Description

NoiseLevel is a fun way to measure the sounds in your surroundings. Measure the sound level of the music you listen to, your kids playing or your office environment. NoiseLevel uses your iPhones built-in microphone to first pick up sound and then displays it in dB (= decibels) on a status bar at the bottom of NoiseLevels main screen. Sounds are also displayed visually as a balloon whose size and color change according to the level of the sound measured. See the balloon burst at high sound levels - you can also make it burst by creating a sharp, high sound, for an example by clapping your hands. Have fun experimenting! For best results, turn the iPhone so the microphone is pointing directly at the sound source. The screen flips accordingly. Disclaimer: NoiseLevel is fairly accurate but it should NOT be considered a professional sound level meter. The built-in microphone of the iPhone can only measure values between 35 to 110 dB and values may vary slightly between iPhones.

Je trouve cette appli très utile sur le fond mais dans la forme complètement efficace. Il suffit délever ma voix pour arriver a 100 db. Il serait intéressant dindiquer ma distance a respecter entre le micro et la source sonore. Jaimerai bien mesurer le son produit par le pot de mon 650... Pour linstant inefficace.

Habe es geladen um meine ps3 slimline zu messen. Direkt am lüfter sind es 55db! Vergleichswerte wären Klasse, glaube sie ist zu laut.... Top-app.!!!

Leider ist die Anzeige sehr träge und für das Geld nur ein einziges feature. Etwas teuer.

Funtkioniert auch unter iOS 4. Allerdings frage ich mich ob die Werte wirklich genau sind. @Hector25 Habe mir die App aus genau dem gleichen Grund gekauft. Bei mir sinds am Lüfter sogar 56-57 dB. Finde auch, dass meine PS3 Slim zu laut ist... Zurück zur App. Will man verschiedene Lautstärken messen und vergleichen ist das Programm bestens geeignet. Um bei einer einzigen Messung einen repräsentativen Wert zu erzielen sind die App und das Mikro wohl zu ungenau!

Super app! Auch die 79 Cent wert finde ich! ABER: Schade das die Anzeige nur bis 100db geht! Das gewitter hier in florida ist da leider zu laut um es zu messen!
