Description
‘NSW Innov8’ is a powerful augmented reality (AR) application developed on behalf of the NSW Department of Industry that brings images to life in 3D and in a fun and engaging way.
You’ll be able to select and interact with a variety of amazing AR experiences:
- Dance with ‘Gutsy’ the Robot from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Magic Lab.
- Take a voyage into space with the ‘NASA ACE’ Satellite, used locally by Saber Astronautics.
- Catch some rainbow trout, stocked and maintained by our NSW Department of Primary Industries.
- Grow a Wattle tree (native to Australia) and admire in their stunning, golden yellow flowers.
How it works?
1) Download the ‘NSW Innov8’ app
2) Launch the camera and then point towards the trigger image
3) When recognized, it will play an amazing augmented reality experience
