Very simplistic Interface
The database is apparently quite large, but there is no way yet to browse through it. All you can do is to enter a search term and wait for the results of the database. To browse the categories by name or nutrition amounts would be really helpful. Alltogether there should be more delivered for the price.
Good database but.....
for me as an older user, I find the font a bit small with no way to adjust it. Also I have a problem reading the text which is in dark grey on a black background. If there is a way to change this I would be very happy as it is extremely difficult to read. The other thing I dont really care for is the unit sizing. There is a sliding scale again it is difficult to change this to the exact portion you want. For instance I checked a cereal which showed a unit size serving as 0.75 cup. I only use 0.5 cup and it was very difficult to slide the marker to get to that figure. Maybe it is just me, but I have used another software where it allowed entry by keyboard for portion sizes which is much easier. I am wondering if there is a way to enter ones own nutritonal data from packages into this program. I havent explored it enough yet to find that out. Looking forward to updates to maybe help with these problems. Thanks.
not worth the money
Frustratingly limited choices of foods and servings. I found it next to useless.
Nutrition Complete
This app was very disappointing. Useless for my needs. The nutrient information is available free on the internet. I thought the app would show daily totals of nutritents etc. Also not user friendly!
more bugs and coming
- long entries do not fit and cannot be read (!!) - favourite list cannot be organized by categories or alphabetically - fonts way too small - grey fonts do not read on black background
Please write review about the app itself
It seems to me that many reviews of iPhone apps have nothing to do with the apps. People just like to whine about the price tag. You can afford 100 bucks a month for your phone, but not 5 bucks for an app? You spend that much on a coffee at Starbucks! Yes, if you spend time looking at the web, you might find nutrition data. But then, why not just getting rid of your iPhone since you can make phone call on the web for free, too! Whats the point? If you have not bought the app and have nothing to say about the app itself, dont even comment on it.
