Meditation is a powerful tool for spirituality and health in general. Too many people are intimidated by the idea because they think its too dIfficult. This app will guide you through 2 of the most powerful techniques of meditation, conscious breathing and body sensing. Breathing happens on its own, even while you are sleeping.You dont need to give it your attention. But when you do breathe in and out consciously, you enter a state of meditation. In the breathe function of the app, the screen will turn white and black. When it turns white, you breathe in and keep doing so until it starts to turn black. As long as the screen is fading into black you continue to breathe out, until the screen turns white again, and you repeat this for as long as you want. 5 minutes a day, every day, is enough for you to notice benefits. When you direct your attention into your body, you activate the nerves that go from the brain into that part of the body and back. You are using a big part of your attention that is usually going into the automatic thinking function. This is why many of us have the experience of having a mind that is constantly chattering, even when we dont choose to. In the sensing mode, you will see a person sitting on a chair. Sit exactly like that, and let the recording guide you through the exercise. Scan the different parts of your body with your attention. Love how you pop up on the globe as it spins and you can see others breathing in synchronicity with you.

Awesome idea to show us all breathing at the same time around the world. I love it. I really enjoyed the guided body meditation too. I do think the breath should be longer. 3 to 4 breast cycles per minute is ideal for kicking in the parasympathetic nervous system to induce the sense of calm.
