I drank a lot of coffee while making this app. Like, a lot.
Not just drinking it — tweaking it. A few clicks finer. A few grams less. Slightly cooler water. Try again.
That’s the whole idea. A recipe isn’t the answer, it’s a starting point. The real pursuit is in the tweaks.
This app was built the same way.
I kept adjusting it as I went — changing how recipes are stored, how tweaks are tracked, how easy it is to come back to a combination that worked. Refining it until it became the app I use every day as my brewing accomplice.
Because once you've found the sweet spot for your latest beans, you just want to be able to brew it again and again.
Whatever you're using — V60, Aeropress, espresso, matcha, phin — the variables change, the idea stays the same.
